COMING SOON! Our NFTS Angel Anthology
A project set in motion by NFTS Co-Founder and Executive Director, Robin Boudreau, this special book is a collection of stories from No Foot Too Small families and, most importantly, a celebration of all of our angels.
"When I delivered Beau, I yearned for connection. I searched for understanding. I desperately wanted to know I wasn’t alone. More than a decade ago, I searched for stories—stories that would validate mine…and this book was the only story I could find: 'I Will Carry You' by Angie Smith. I read it and read it and read it again. I read it at home and carried it with me to work. Her story wasn’t exactly my story, but it was the only story I could find. Her story was my security blanket. It was the connection + understanding I so desperately needed.
Then last Fall, it dawned on me. We needed to publish a book—a collection of stories—so our community could become that same connection and understanding for even more families. And that’s exactly what we’ve done. For the last 13 months, I’ve worked with an incredible publisher and some incredibly brave friends of mine– men and women, in their twenties, thirties, forties, fifties, and sixties, from around the country. Friends that only Beau could have gifted me. Friends who are so vulnerably and courageously sharing their own stories of loss. In the pages of our book, you will find their stories of miscarriage, of stillbirth, of twin loss, of incompatible-with-life diagnoses, and yes, of infant loss. You’ll find their stories of love and letting go. You’ll feel their pain, witness their gratitude, and experience their joy.
And in the center, you'll find the names of our angels." - Robin Boudreau, NFTS Co-Founder and Executive Director
We are close to a finished manuscript, so stay tuned for more updates!
