Birthing and bereavement suites are not commonplace in the United States, but the need for these spaces is underscored by statistics showing that 1 in 4 pregnancies end in loss and every 160 babies in the U.S. is born still. Last year, the Center for Disease Control announced a 3 percent increase in infant mortality rates across the country.
The Omaha Suite Social, proudly sponsored by Carson Wealth on October 3, 2024, was an opportunity for the community to learn about the mission of No Foot Too Small, understand the growing need as statistics continue to rise, and support the construction of this essential initiative to change the standard of care for families who will not be bringing their babies home.

Through the generosity of champions like you, we’ve raised $173,000 towards our $264,000 project goal to date! This brings us so much closer to building a sacred space at the Nebraska Medical Center, where families can experience the privacy, care, and dignity they need during the unimaginable loss of a child.
But we’re not done yet.
